Snoop Dogg vs. Donald Trump

Things are really starting to heat up as celebrities are coming out and defending the release of Snoop Dogg’s new video “Lavender” which shows Snoop Dogg pull the trigger of a fake gun pointed at a clown which closely resembles Donald Trump. The music video, for a remix of the song “Lavender” by the jazzy hip-hop jam band BadBadNotGood, began drawing outrage from conservative media and politicians earlier this week after its release on Sunday.

In typical Trump fashion he decides to head to twitter to express his feelings about it:

Since then celebrities have been coming to the defense of Snoop Dogg such as T.I. and Bow Wow:

Hip Hop rapper Common also weighed in telling TMZ  “At the end of the day, hip-hop has always been … If you go think about the days of Public Enemy and you fast forward to Kendrick Lamar, like hip-hop artists have always been speaking up and saying what they feel and like, if it’s a president they don’t like, if it’s a politician they don’t like.”

Snoop joins the club with Saturday Night Live who have made various skits about Trump and his staff.

Do you agree with the actions of these celebrities or do you feel its a better way to handle our displeasure in your new president? I say your because I didn’t see the inauguration so Trump’s didn’t count. Barack and Michelle call me I miss you.
